Year 7 Transition Day

Secondary students at Gingin DHS will continue to build on skills and strategies to help them develop into independent life learners. The staff focus on organisational strategies that best suit the individual, foster collaboration through explicitly teaching cooperative learning strategies, and encourage a mature approach to adolescent issues by empowering students to respect the mediation process and be accountable for their own actions. Gingin DHS promotes 4 core values (CRTR Values) Care, Respect, Try, and Responsible.

To assist with their transition, we would like to invite your child to attend our Year 6 to Year 7 Transition Day, where they will get to meet some of their new teachers and explore what being a secondary student will be like. If your child would like to join everyone for the Transition Day, please contact myself or the school to let us know they will be attending.
