The SSWA Secondary Interschool Athletics carnival provides students with an opportunity to compete at a higher level of competitions to further develop their sporting abilities and communication skills.

About the Event
Your child has been selected to represent Gingin District High School at the Interschool Athletics Carnival, either as a participant or helper, to be held at WA Athletics Stadium on Tuesday 22nd October 2024.
The Carnival will run with field and track events running concurrently throughout the day. The main program will commence at 9.30am and concluding presentations will begin at 1.45pm
DRESS/UNIFORM: School uniform, black shorts and black and red school top.
FOOTWEAR: Footwear is compulsory. If footwear is not worn students will be disqualified.
The only spikes permitted for use on the track are the Christmas Tree and Pyramid shape variety.
The composition of the spike, i.e. ceramic or metal, is irrelevant and will not be monitored. Track spikes must not exceed 7mm. Field spikes must not exceed 9mm except for high jump which must not exceed 12mm.
