About the Event
This excursion will not only build students’ scientific knowledge of marine ecosystems but also inspire creative and critical thinking through an English poetry focus. After engaging with the sights, sounds, and textures of the marine world, students will participate in guided poetry-writing activities. They will experiment with imagery, figurative language, rhythm, and sensory description to transform their observations of marine life into original poems.
