Carnaby Crusaders Incursion (Secondary)

The Carnaby’s Crusaders incursion aligns with both the horticulture unit and Wildlife Cadets by strengthening students’ understanding of habitat conservation, native flora, and the role of human intervention in supporting threatened species. Through exploring forage plants, threats, and constructing breeding boxes, students engage in practical conservation actions that promote biodiversity and support the survival of Western Australia’s black cockatoos.

Carnaby’s Crusaders are a Registered Not for Profit Charity. They are an enterprise dedicated to supporting the recovery, breeding and preservation of habitat that supports Western Australia’s native Black Cockatoo species. Their goal is to ensure the survival and promote awareness around the required preservation of natural habitat in order to support our Native Black Cockatoo’s.
