About the Event
Visiting Banksy’s Art offers Year 10 students a powerful way to explore themes of protest, free speech, and social justice. Banksy uses bold, thought-provoking street art to challenge political systems, media bias, and inequality—ideas that connect closely to the themes in Stupid White Men, our current novel study. By seeing his work first hand, students can better understand how visual texts can be used to question authority, expose fake news, and express dissent in creative and impactful ways.
