2024 Interm Swimming Lessons

Once again, the school will be participating in interm swimming lessons for all Pre-Primary to Year 6 students at the Gingin Aquatic Centre.

These lessons will start on Wednesday 31st January 2024 and will run for 8 days concluding on Friday 9th February 2024. There will be one lesson per day for the 8 days resulting in all students attending eight sessions. Students require their swimming gear for all 8 days and need to be prepared to change back into school uniform to return to school. Please ensure your child has a ‘rashie’ or T-shirt for swimming lessons.

The cost for the swimming will be

• $17.60      pool entry (Season Pass holders are free).
• $10.70      bus fare for Pre-Primary to Year 6 students.

All students are encouraged to attend these sessions as they are provided with a sound grounding in pool sense and it also enables them to learn the skills associated with swimming. These lessons will also lead into the Faction Swimming Carnival to be held later in the term. If parents would like to organise a payment plan to cover the expenses for the lessons and/or swimming carnivals please feel free to contact the Manager Corporate Services, Pauline Seivwright or Principal, Kevin Brady at the School.

Please complete the forms sent home on 29th November 2023 and return them both to your child’s class teacher with the correct money for the lessons. PLEASE ENSURE YOU COMPLETE THE SECTION ON THE ENROLMENT FORM RELATING TO THE CURRENT STAGE YOUR CHILD IS AT AS THIS GREATLY ASSISTS WITH CORRECT PLACEMENT.

All forms and money need to be returned to the class teacher by Thursday 14th December 2023.
