Night Parrot Incursion

Ghost Bird Consultancy is an ecological and biological consulting business based in Western Australia, founded and led by prominent ornithologist Neil Hamilton.

The consultancy specialises in biodiversity and conservation, undertaking remote field projects and biodiversity surveys with a strong focus on the protection of threatened species. Neil is particularly well known within the ecological community for his extensive research and tracking of the elusive nocturnal Night Parrot in the Australian outback.

We are fortunate to welcome Neil to spend the day working with our Year 9 students and the Year 9/10 class (Periods 3 and 4), as well as Year 8.2 (Periods 5 and 6). During the incursion, Neil will guide students around the school grounds (weather permitting), exploring the biodiversity present within our local environment.
